Miller will pilot the No. 01 JAS Expedited Trucking Chevrolet Camaro in Saturday’s My Bariatric Solutions 300.

“I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the No. 01 JAS Expedited Trucking JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Xfinity Series car this weekend,” said Miller. “I enjoyed the couple weekends off, but I am ready to get back into a rhythm of back-to-back racing. Texas (Motor Speedway) is a whole new track for me. I’ve never been to or even seen the track except for the prior races I’ve been watching to try to prepare. I know it will be another learning experience.  I really need to button down and see what I can do to have some solid top-20 finishes for these guys that work so hard. I’ll be talking to Garrett (Smithley) and Ross (Chastain) as much as possible to find the right lines. Hopefully, I’ll be able to have a strong finish for Johnny (Davis), the No. 01 guys, and JAS Expedited Trucking.”

Mills has one previous start at Texas Motor Speedway having raced there in 2016 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

“Texas is a race that I have really been looking forward to,” said Mills. “Being a rookie driver in the Xfinity Series, it’s a confidence boost to be heading to a track where I have some experience. My No. 15 team has been hit with some really bad luck the last two races, so a good finish this weekend is a must for us. I’m super thankful to these guys for all of the hard work they’ve put in during the two off-weekends, and I know they’ve got a great car ready for me to race this weekend.”

NASCAR Xfinity Series practice is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. (CST) Friday. Qualifying will start at 11:10 a.m. (CST) on Saturday, and the My Bariatric Solutions 300 will get the green flag at 2:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m. ET) on FOX.

ROSS CHASTAIN SCORES A TOP TEN FINISH IN CALIFORNIA

GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 19, 2018) – The Roseanne 300 at Auto Club Speedway was one to remember for driver Ross Chastain and team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller. Chastain, driving the No. 4 Future Media Sales / Daley Technology Systems Chevrolet Camaro, ran his most consistent race so far in the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series season and came home in 10th place.

Chastain started the weekend off strong by qualifying in 13th place. The No. 4 team ran in the top-ten for most of the race, earning playoff points at the end of stage one of the Roseanne 300.

“We ran this same car at Vegas, and it was fast there, but my team improved on it so much for this weekend,” said Chastain. “I can’t thank Future Media Sales, RM Parks, and Daley Technology Services enough for everything they’ve done. Tires are a huge deal at this track, so without their support, there’s no way we would’ve had enough fresh sets of tires to be as competitive as we were. I’m really proud of Johnny Davis and all of the guys who work here. I don’t know how these guys are even awake as hard as they’ve been working to get us through this West Coast Swing. I’m glad to be able to give them a race finish to be proud of.”

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will take a two-week break before heading to Texas Motor Speedway for the My Bariatric Solutions 300 on April 7th, 2018.

“I’m so proud of how this team has done in every race out west,” said Smithley. “The West Coast Swing is always tough on teams this size, but every single one of these guys worked their tails off to get us through. We ran three clean races, and we got a solid finish today at Auto Club Speedway. I’m so thankful to VehicleKEYS.com for giving me a chance. I’m really hoping to see them on for more races this year. I’m ready to be home for a couple weeks, and I’m looking forward to racing in Texas.”

Miller qualified for the race in 34th place, but hard work from his No. 01 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller crew helped make the car better throughout the race.

“We had a pretty solid run at Auto Club Speedway this past weekend,” said Miller. “The track is similar to Michigan (International Speedway), but not exactly the same.  I really learned a ton from the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller teammates and my spotter Tyler Green.  They were able to help me realize I could utilize the whole track to gain more speed.  I am looking forward for a couple weeks off to get ready for Texas.  I can’t thank Tony and Lisa Freeland enough for coming on board with JAS Expedited Trucking last weekend in California.”

“It has been really tough having such bad luck these past two weekends,” said Mills. “Hopefully, we’ve got all of our bad luck out of the way early. It will be great to have the next two weeks off to regroup, and we’ll go to Texas with a clean slate. Gaffney, S.C. (March 15, 2018) – Sunoco Rookie of Year candidate, Vinnie Miller, will be making his first career start at Auto Club Speedway (ACS) in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series California 300.

Miller, driver of the No. 01 JAS Expedited Trucking Chevrolet Camaro for team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller, is hoping that his past experience at the similar Michigan International Speedway, where he led his first laps in the ARCA racing series, will help him have a successful weekend at ACS.

“I’m really excited to go to Auto Club Speedway this weekend,” said Miller. “I’ve heard the track is really rough and bumpy, but it drives like Michigan (International Speedway). I had a really good run last year at Michigan, so I am hoping I will be able to pick up the lines of the track quickly.  I’ll once again lean on my teammates on getting up to speed, and I’ve been watching races from the past few years to help me before we get there. I can’t thank the guys on this No.  01 JAS Expedited Trucking, Johnny Davis team enough for all the hard work they have put in during the West Coast Swing.  I would really like to give them a good finish this weekend in California.”
