GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 14, 2018) – Three Southern California-based companies will be making their first venture into NASCAR as sponsors on board the No. 4  JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro for the NASCAR Xfinity Series California 300. Future Media Sales, RM Parks, and Daley Technology Systems will all be primary sponsors of driver Ross Chastain at Auto Club Speedway.

Future Media Sales is the most reliable and results-driven newspaper sales vendor in Los Angeles County. RM Parks operates a first-class fleet of trucks transporting gasoline and diesel fuel products throughout the State of California. Daley Technology Systems, LLC specializes in advertising and promotions for business partners, municipalities and organizations throughout California.

All three companies are completely new to the world of NASCAR, and are eager to get to the track and make the most of their sponsorship. “We couldn’t be more thrilled and proud to be on board the No. 4 Chevy this weekend,” said Tom Daley of Daley Technology Systems. “Los Angeles is a huge market with so many great companies, but not many are involved in NASCAR. I see NASCAR as a huge platform, and I think what we are doing with JD Motorsports will really make our companies stand out from the crowd. We have been watching Ross Chastain and JD Motorsports for the past several weeks and have been very impressed. We are looking forward to the race weekend, and to the future.”

“I am very excited to welcome Future Media Sales, RM Parks, and Daley Technology Systems to the team,” said Johnny Davis, JD Motorsports team owner. “It means a lot for this race team to have the support of three big companies in California, and it means even more that they have chosen us for their first ever NASCAR team partnership. My No. 4 team is unloading a very fast car for the California 300, so we’re ready to make these new partners proud.”

TOP 20 FINISH FOR ROSS CHASTAIN IN THE DC SOLAR 200

GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 12, 2018) – The DC Solar 200 was a wild race, interrupted twice by unexpected rain showers. However, team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller and driver Ross Chastain persevered with a top-20 finish. The No. 4 Flex Seal Chevrolet Camaro came home in 19th place at ISM Raceway.

Chastain advanced to round two of NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying and started the race in 18th place. Using smart pit road strategy, the No. 4 team raced as high as 3rd place during the DC Solar 200.

“It was hectic being in and out of the car, stop and go with the rain in the desert,” said Chastain. “The No. 4 Flex Seal Chevy was consistent. We kept working on it and made it turn the center better and better, which is what we fought during the green flag runs. We definitely made some gains here in Phoenix, and I’m looking forward to California.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Service King 300 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, C.A., on March 17th, 2018.

GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 12, 2018) – Garrett Smithley, driver of the No. 0 Flex Tape Chevrolet Camaro for team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller, finished in 28th place in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series DC Solar 200 at ISM Raceway.

Smithley qualified in 31st place for the DC Solar 200. Unexpected rain showers brought out two red flags during race.

“It was a decent day,” said Smithley. “We struggled a little bit in the first stage with the car being too tight, but my No. 0 Flex Tape crew got the car driving better. We were running some good laps at the end, but we didn’t have any luck getting our lap back. I had a good car, and I learned a lot. I have to say a huge thank you to Flex Seal and Flex Tape for continuing to support JD Motorsports. I also have to thank Above180 Podcast; the team and I had a lot of fun bowling with them this week. We’ll move on to California and hopefully have some fun there.”

VINNIE MILLER FINISHES 33RD AT ISM RACEWAY

VINNIE MILLER FINISHES 33RD AT ISM RACEWAY

GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 12, 2018) – Frequent rain showers made for a challenging NASCAR Xfinity Series race at ISM Raceway, especially for rookie driver, Vinnie Miller, making his first career start at the Phoenix, A.Z., track. The No. 01 Flex Glue Chevrolet Camaro finished in 33rd place in Saturday’s DC Solar 200.

Miller qualified in 33rd place for the race. Despite a pit road speeding penalty and two red flags for rain, Miller and his JD Motorsports with Gary Keller team made gains throughout the race and brought home a clean race car.

“Each week I continue to learn from my time on track,” said Miller. “The scoreboard doesn’t always show what a great job my No. 01 JD Motorsports team is doing each week.  Our lap times and progress are consistently improving. Tires were definitely a factor in Phoenix. I am positive when we return to ISM Raceway in the fall, we will have a much stronger showing. My goal is to continue to learn from my teammates and other veterans in the NASCAR Xfinity Series so that I can get Flex Seal, Flex Glue, and JAS Expedited Trucking in the top-20 every race.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Service King 300 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, C.A., on March 17th, 2018.

GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 12, 2018) – Frequent rain showers made for a difficult NASCAR Xfinity Series race Saturday at ISM Raceway, especially for rookie driver, Matt Mills, who’s day ended early after contact with the wall on lap 84 of the DC Solar 200.

Mills, driving the No. 15 Flex Shot Chevrolet Camaro for team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller, blew a seal on the brake caliper, which sent him into the wall. Mills was scored in 38th place at the conclusion of the race.

“It was a tough day for sure, especially with ISM Raceway being one of my favorite tracks,” said Mills. “We had some other struggles with the car early in the race, but my No. 15 Flex Shot crew really worked hard to keep me in the race. It’s disappointing that we didn’t get to finish, but there’s always going to be days like this in racing. We’ll take what we’ve learned this weekend and move on to California.”
