MATT MILLS EXCITED TO RETURN TO ISM RACEWAY

Gaffney, S.C. (March 8, 2018) – Matt Mills, driver of the No. 15 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro, may be a rookie driver but ISM Raceway is nothing new for him. Mills is feeling very confident about Saturday’s DC Solar 200.

Mills made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut last year at the Phoenix, A.Z., track. He has also raced there in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2016 with a 21st place finish. Flex Shot will be on board the No. 15 as the primary sponsor for the DC Solar 200.

“ISM Raceway is one of the races that I’ve have been looking forward to since I signed on for the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series season,” said Mills. “With the past experience I’ve had there, I’m feeling very confident for this weekend’s race.”

NASCAR Xfinity Series practice is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and 2:05 p.m. (MST) Friday. Qualifying will start at 11:05 a.m. (MST) on Saturday, and the DC Solar 200 will get the green flag at 2:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. ET) on FOX.

IMPRESSIVE RUN FOR ROSS CHASTAIN AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 5, 2018) – Ross Chastain overcame a pit road speeding penalty and a late-race spin to finish in the top-20 in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300. The No. 4 Flex Seal Chevrolet Camaro finished 18th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS).

Chastain qualified 14th, one of the best ever qualifying positions for his No. 4 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller team at LVMS. With less than 10 laps to go, contact sent Chastain sliding down the race track, but he was able to avoid damage to his new racecar with an impressive save.

“We had really good speed all weekend, but I made a few mistakes on my end,” said Chastain. “I thought I was going to get run into on pit road and got a speeding penalty at one point, and we had a few gremlins with the new car. Overall, though, we showed a lot of promise and a lot of raw speed. I’m really looking forward to racing in California with this same car in two weeks. Got to say a huge thanks to Flex Seal once again for coming on board with us, and I’m looking forward to driving another new car for Phoenix next week.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the DC Solar 200 at ISM Raceway in Phoenix, A.Z., on March 10th, 2018.

GARRETT SMITHLEY FINISHES 23RD IN THE BOYD GAMING 300

GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 5, 2018) – Garrett Smithley, driving the No. 15 Flex Tape Chevrolet Camaro for team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller, finished a solid 23rd at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Saturday’s Boyd Gaming 300.

With a brand new NASCAR Xfinity Series racecar, Smithley qualified 26th for the Boyd Gaming 300, and raced in the top 25 for most of the race.

“It was a fun race, and I had a fun car to drive,” said Smithley. “This is probably the best car I’ve ever had for Vegas. The car responded well to all of the changes that my crew chief, Wayne (Carroll), made. We got behind a little bit on tires, but all and all, it was a really great day. We learned a lot about this car that is going to help us all season. I can’t thank Flex Seal, Flex Tape, and FAME enough for their continued support, and I’ve got to thank Above180 Podcast for coming on board this week and next week at Phoenix.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the DC Solar 200 at ISM Raceway in Phoenix, A.Z., on March 10th, 2018.

GAFFNEY, S.C. (March 5, 2018) – Rookie driver Vinnie Miller, driving the No. 01 JAS Expedited Trucking Chevrolet Camaro, brought home an impressive 24th place finish in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race, his first career start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Miller qualified 37th for the Boyd Gaming 300, and was quickly able to gain positions. He raced in the top 25 for the majority of the race, but was held back by malfunctioning pit guns.

“I thought the NASCAR Xfinity race went really well,” said Miller. “I learned a lot, and I’m happy with the 24th place finish for the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller team. My crew chief, Bryan (Berry), really brought a great car for us in Las Vegas. Despite having two pit guns breaking, we were able to rebound to 24th. I can’t wait to be back there in the fall.  Thank you again to JAS Expedited Trucking and Master Mfg., Inc for all the support.”

We improved on our finish last week and finished with a clean racecar, and those were my two biggest goals going into the weekend. I’m very thankful to Flex Seal, Flex Glue, and JF Electric for their support. I’m very excited for next weekend in Phoenix. I made my Xfinity Series debut at ISM Raceway last year, so I can’t wait to back.”

“Last week’s race in Atlanta really showed how much progress this team’s mile-and-a-half program has made since this time last year,” said Chastain. “The No. 4 team has some good momentum going into Las Vegas, and I think we’ll surprise a few people this weekend.”

NASCAR Xfinity Series practice is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and 2:05 p.m. (PST) Friday. Qualifying will start at 10:10 a.m. (PST) on Saturday, and the Boyd Gaming 300 will get the green flag at 1:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. ET) on FS1.

VINNIE MILLER MAKING HIS FIRST “NASCAR GOES WEST” TRIP

VINNIE MILLER MAKING HIS FIRST “NASCAR GOES WEST” TRIP

Gaffney, S.C. (March 1, 2018) – The next three weeks will have a lot of firsts for rookie driver Vinnie Miller as he prepares for his first “West Coast Swing” (the name given to the back-to-back Las Vegas, Phoenix, and California race weekends) in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The Boyd Gaming 300 race weekend will be Miller’s first time racing Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS), and his first time visiting Las Vegas, N.V.

JAS Expedited Trucking will once again be on board Miller’s No. 01 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro for Saturday’s Boyd Gaming 300.

“I am excited about going to Las Vegas Motor Speedway,” said Miller. “I like tri-oval, half-mile race tracks. They seem to fit my driving style the best, and they are very competitive. I’ve heard the track is really fast, but it will have more grip than Atlanta (Motor Speedway), and hopefully, be a little easier to tame.  I’m hoping I will be able to bring home a better finish for JAS Expedited Trucking and JD Motorsports with Gary Keller. Atlanta was a tough one, but I’m ready to roll on to Las Vegas. I am looking forward to the West Coast Swing.  I’ve never been to Las Vegas, Phoenix or California, so it should be a lot of fun in-between the races.”

(4:00 p.m. ET) on FS1.

GAFFNEY, S.C. (February 26, 2018) – Ross Chastain and team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller had a solid day at Atlanta Motor Speedway, bringing the No. 4 Flex Seal Chevrolet Camaro home in the 16th position in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Rinnai 250.

Chastain made the second round of Rinnai 250 qualifying and started the race 24th.

“Our Flex Seal Chevy ran really well today,” said Chastain. “This is definitely a step forward for the No. 4 team here at Atlanta where I’ve struggled in the past. The car was back and forth between loose and tight, but each change that the crew made helped. This is a good start to the year for our mile-and-a-half program.”

Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 3rd, 2018.
