Gaffney, S.C. (March 1, 2018) – Ross Chastain is off to a great start to the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, and he’s hoping to keep it going with a strong finish in the third race of the season, Saturday’s Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS).

Chastain, driving the No. 4 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro, has raced LVMS three times with two top-20 finishes and one top-25.

“Last week’s race in Atlanta really showed how much progress this team’s mile-and-a-half program has made since this time last year,” said Chastain. “The No. 4 team has some good momentum going into Las Vegas, and I think we’ll surprise a few people this weekend.”

NASCAR Xfinity Series practice is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and 2:05 p.m. (PST) Friday. Qualifying will start at 10:10 a.m. (PST) on Saturday, and the Boyd Gaming 300 will get the green flag at 1:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. ET) on FS1.
