Ross Chastain - Alva, FL

Ross Chastain drives the No. 4 Camaro for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller, and has been driving full time with the team since 2015. In 2018, Chastain made JDM history by becoming the first driver to qualify for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs with the team. Later that season, he captured his first career NXS win at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. While not racing for JDM in the Xfinity Series, you can also catch Ross piloting the No. 45 Silverado for Niece Motorsports in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, along with Premium Motorsports in the No. 15 Camaro ZL1 in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. He is, as they say, the busiest driver in NASCAR.

Garrett Smithley - Ligonier, PA

Garrett Smithley is the driver of the No. 0 Camaro for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller, and has been driving full time with the team since 2016. Garrett has over 100 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts to his name, and in 2018, he made his first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start. He boasts a best career NXS finish of 5th place, which came in February of 2018 at Daytona International Speedway. Smithley is a big showman, and has been playing musical instruments and acting in plays since he was a kid. While not racing with JDM in the Xfinity Series, Garrett will make the occasional start in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series in the No. 42 Silverado for Chad Finley Racing, and more frequently in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series with Spire Motorsports in the No. 77 Camaro ZL1.

Stephen Leicht.jpg

Stephen Leicht - Asheville, NC

Stephen Leicht is without a doubt JD Motorsports with Gary Keller’s most experienced driver currently on the team. Having made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2005, Leicht brings nearly 15 years of series experience to the No. 01 Camaro. In 2007, he captured his first NXS career win at the Kentucky Speedway driving for the late Robert Yates. In 2012, he was awarded Rookie of the Year honors in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. 2019 is Stephen’s first full time season in any NASCAR series since 2007, but his wealth of knowledge with all different types of racecars sits him firmly as the team veteran. While not racing with JDM in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Stephen is an avid bowler and golfer, and adds to his hand-eye coordination through these sports as much as possible.

BJ McLeod - Wauchula, FL

BJ McLeod brings something different to the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller lineup - he actually owns his own NASCAR Xfinity Series team! That’s right, even though he owns a three car operation within the series, he races for JDM in the No. 15 Camaro on most weekends. BJ has been driving with our team since 2018, and currently has a best career NXS finish of 11th, which came at the Daytona International Speedway in July of 2017. While not racing in the Xfinity Series with JDM or overseeing the operation of his own team, BJ will make starts for various teams in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, along with racing the majority of weekends for Rick Ware Racing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Matthews has 3 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series starts to his name, which all came during the 2018 season, with a best career finish of 17th. He is the 2016 NASCAR Whelen All American Series North Carolina state champion, which he earned racing late model stock cars throughout the state. Landon Cassill - Cedar Rapids, IA

Landon Cassill.jpg

Landon Cassill drives the No. 4 Camaro on a part time basis when its main driver, Ross Chastain, drives for a different team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Cassill drove for the team on a full-time basis from 2013 to 2015, and made a brief return last season for three races. This season, in his lone start so far at Talladega, he proved that he could still wheel a NXS car, coming home with a 9th place finish. While he is not racing with JDM in the Xfinity Series, Landon can be found behind the wheel of the No. 00 Camaro ZL1 in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driving for Starcom Racing. Landon’s next scheduled appearance in a JDM No. 4 Chevrolet will be at Chicagoland Speedway in June.
