Vinnie Miller started racing at the tender age of five years old on the quarter midget tracks in Michigan. The young driver had several wins, was the Senior Honda Champion, Senior and Junior Stock Champion.
Vinnie raced the Lite A – It.AA Light Alcohol Series from ages eight to 12 years old. In 2010 at age 13 he moved to the Pure Stock division in where he received the Rookie of the Year honors.
At age 14, he moved to the Sportsman class driving a 1981 leaf spring Camaro and was the 2012 Rookie of the Year. In 2013, Vinnie never placed out of the top five in the Sportsman season winning eight of the 16 races he competed in. He also received the 2013 Edge of Your Seat Award (most competitive/aggressive driver voted by the Owosso Speedway staff & fans).
In 2014, the Ortonville, MI native advanced to the Pro Late Model Series where he finished the season second in the points standing out of 32 other competitors and received the Rookie of the Year honors.
In 2015 and 2016, Vinnie has driven several Super Late Model races in the Pro All Stars Series, Speed Weeks at New Smyrna Beach Speedway, CARS Tour and 602 Tour events. Miller posted his first win in 2016 in the Pro Late Model race at Franklin County Speedway in late October.
2017 Vinnie drove in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards for MDM Motorsports. He posted one top-five and six top-10 finishes and led six laps at Michigan International Speedway.
He also made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut for Johnny Davis Motorsports with Gary Keller at Chicagoland Speedway posting a respectable 29th place finish. Miller also competed in the NASCAR World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Talladega Superspeedway boasting a seventh place finish in his first superspeedway event.
In 2018, Vinnie will run fulltime in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Johnny Davis Motorsports with Gary Keller piloting the No. 01 Chevrolet Camaro. He will compete for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year Title.
Outside of racing he enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, diving, driving snow mobiles and hanging out with friends. He credits his late Grandfather Vance Weedon and his Grandmother Julie Weedon for helping him in to racing and his biggest influences on his life. Vinnie is the son of Renee Weedon Organek and Rick Miller. A special shout out to Tony Basalone who worked tirelessly on his cars in Michigan to get Vinnie where he is today.
